Just having a huge property with spacious rooms doesn't make a hotel a 4-star. The General Manager, Sai Kumar, made fake promises which he didn't keep in the end. They all acted so good in the beginning but the General Manager showed his true colors after 2 weeks of my stay. He claimed to have a tie-up with a cab service but when I asked about the same, he straightaway refused to help. How rude and unprofessional. It was his responsibility to talk to the cab service if his hotel had a tie-up as he claimed. And how fake of him to later deny his refusal by talking so sweetly and acting so innocent. He should know that his lies could be easily exposed by the call recording I have by default of his straight refusal. Integrity is expected from someone sitting as the General Manager. He speaks as if you are a special guest there and he is going out of his way to give offers only to you. And this he does to get 5-star ratings from everyone as it's his new business venture apparently. His true colors come out over time. "Especially for you" is his punchline to fool the guests. When he can't keep his promises of offers, he shouldn't be making them in the first place. How disrespectful and unprofessional and fraud. He didn't even bother to ask me what issues I faced when I mentioned him about the inconveniences there. How unprofessional. Just keeping the hotel clean doesn't mean hygiene. The housekeeping staff doesn't follow hygienic practices. Nor do they have any professional decorum. They clean the entire room including washroom and then touch and handle the crockery. How disgusting. And the way they ask hundreds of unnecessary questions about cleaning the room was so highly annoying. Now where does it fall in the standards of decorum of a "4-star" hotel? The restaurant staff too doesn't follow hygienic practices while servicing. The standard of service of both housekeeping and restaurant is very poor. A restaurant chef named Sunil speaks in such an impolite and uncultured Hindi that it sounds nothing less than uncouthed. Where is the decorum of a "4-star" hotel? Being a head chef himself, as he claimed to be, he doesn't even follow the order instructions himself. He brought exactly opposite of what was ordered. What a joke. There is a horrible female receptionist named Rhea that used to only argue and misbehave. A typical brainless that tries to act oversmart. She doesn't have any decency of respecting the guests and ultimately received my blasting. She is an utter disgrace to a hotel that claims to be a so-called "4-star". They hardly have any options in breakfast. And no tandoor items available in such a big hotel. And they don't even bother to. Their restaurant is not open even till late night. A lady restaurant incharge came straight to the room to show what bowls she uses in the restaurant. How weird. What standards do these people have? For every complaint that I made, whether for hot water or anything else, they gave a senseless excuse about being a new property. How ridiculous and equally annoying and inefficient. I had to even complain against the security guard for his misbehaviour. They play such loud music in the restaurant causing disturbance in the rooms. There is not one department in this entire hotel that lives upto the standards that such a big hotel demands. These people even disclose the information of the hotel guests to outside people like cab drivers. Who on earth gave them the authority? This is not only highly unacceptable and unprofessional but also unethical. I had to point it out to them. Who ever gave them the licence to run this hotel? Their reception mobile number is kept switched off most of the times. That again is so unprofessional. Making contact access to them becomes difficult, which is so risky during an emergency. This doesn't at all fill up to a 4-star level. The General Manager didn't even help me arrange for a cab to the airport for my early morning flight. After check-out, I had to call up thrice to the hotel reception to send my bills. But they didn't send. And when I contacted the General Manager, he suddenly became unresponsive to my calls and messages. How irresponsible and unprofessional. Throwing attitude to people after they checked out. They ultimately sent bills which are scanned of such poor quality. No standards. No sophistication at all. People there neither have any training nor any grooming. The way they speak and carry themselves is like those of villagers. The hotel doesn't at all match the standards of a 4-star hotel that they claim to be. They should stop calling themselves one. Pratique S2025-02-14Verified Excellent and peaceful experience Our stay at Sahaswara was absolutely perfect - the stunning balcony field views coupled with the friendly staff and delicious food, made for an unforgettable vacation. The rooms were spacious and impeccably clean, and the pool area was ideal for relaxing with a cocktail/beer in hand. Especially Mr. Saikumar made this effortless as we were travelling with our toddler and all of the staff made sure that his comfort was taken care of. Thank you Sahaswara.
